In All That You Have Made
The soil nourishes the grass,
The grass shelters the insects,
The insects sacrifice for the birds,
The birds feed the scavengers,
The scavengers leave behind bones,
The bones enrich the soil.
Thus, all created things coexist and serve one another.
The ocean evaporates into the sky,
The sky holds the clouds,
The clouds condense into rain,
The rain falls to form streams,
The streams carve out rivers,
The rivers merge into the ocean.
Thus, all created things coexist and serve one another.
The stones build the mountains,
The mountains nurture the trees,
The trees form the forests,
The forests breathe out the atmosphere,
The atmosphere brings forth the wind,
The wind erodes the stones.
Thus, all created things coexist and serve one another.
We give birth to you,
You comfort them,
They protect us,
We sustain you,
You guide them,
They rest us.
Thus, we who are created should likewise coexist and serve one another.
